    Hi.
I'm trying to send photos on WhatsApp but I'm getting the following error messages -
    Unfortunately Launcher 3 has stopped.
Unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped.
    Does anyone know a solution?
    Thanks

You'd need to reset Launcher3, got to apps in settings, go to storage, and clear cache, if that doesn't work, clear data. Or you could just uninstall Launcer3 and reinstall it. That's the first thing to try anwayz.

What Android phone do you have?
Is it a Vodafone Smart 4?
Sorry to say this but that phone is very very old, running Android 4.4. Looks like it was released in 2014

What has likely happened is that WhatsApp has had an update that has made is non-functional/incompatible with such an old phone

Appreciate the reply and yes it's an older phone but it works. I don't use the internet or other stuff on phone. Any ideas how I might work around this? Thanks

Easiest solution is to just get a new phone. You don't have to spend a fortune, but a device running such an old version of Android is just going to run into more and more issues over time.

WhatsApp still supports Android as early as 4.0.3. What version of Android does the phone say it has in settings? If there any system updates pending, I would also download and install them to see if that fixes the issue.

    Step 1: Go To "Settings".
Step 2: Tap on "Apps or Application Manager" .
Step 3: Tap on Top three dots .

Step 5: Restart your phone .

    Method 2:

    Clear Data of :

    Google Play Store
    Google Play Services
    Google Services Framework

    Method 3:

Step 1: Turn Off Google Sync.

Step 2: Disable "Media Storage" ,and then Clear the Data of it.

Step 3: Disable "Download Manager",and then Clear the Data of it .
Step 4: Turn Off Your Phone and Restart it .

I would repeat that process with your gallery app and your file browser and whatsapp. You will loose you messages in whatsapp if you don't back them up first.
