Sorry if this is a stupid question, but, what happens after the two months expire and I don’t renew. Can I still use it to access Other Apps like YouTube, Netflix etc ?

They automatically charge you unless you cancel. As for what it is you still have access to, I'd be interested in finding that out myself. :)

When the sub expires on NOWTV you can still use all the Apps
Just as an FYI the RTE player dose not play Live TV.

As with the Fire stick, you dont need a paid subscription to use Netflix, iPlayer, Youtube apps on it. If you want to access NowTV app, you will need to purchase passes

Every so often a deal will come up whereby its half price for 6 months. THose deals are excellent! Currently on a 6 month entertainment and movies pass for a total of €15pm

Decent for the stick alone to be able to use Netflix etc if you don't have a smart TV.

Had now tv for a few months and stopped the subscription, some content was good but got through the stuff I wanted petty quick, feel likes it's a 2 month sub every 6 months or so to get the new material uploaded

Question - we're on €15 a month pass. Can we just cancel this today and sign up immediately for the 2 month deal?

EDIT: I'm wrong here aren't I, this is for someone signing up as a new customer?

They don't seem as bad about excluding existing customers from deals as "normal" Sky TV are.

Now TV's Irish site is currently offering 2 months of Movies for €15, so this deal is just an extra fiver for a second stick (or a spare remote if you want to look at it that way).

I believe that the 19.99 bundle comes with a code which you could use on your existing stick - but reports differ, it may be preinstalled. If that is the case then you just use your existing account on the new stick.

Also bear in mind that you can use multiple devices on one account so your movies pass works on two devices at the same time (limitations apply to Sky Sports though).

its my experience you can add a voucher code on , and then you get the 2 months free if you are an existing customer or not. so say you are due for renewal in two weeks, apply the voucher and check again when you are next charged, and its 2 months and 2 weeks away.

Looks its a decent service - and at half price is good value.

It does have a automatic rolling renewal in place - so you have to be aware of that fact.
