Sky new customer price query

    Hi guys

Just wondering can a new customer haggle with sky for a lower price or are their prices fixed with no room for negotiation?

I know that an existing customer can haggle when their contact is running out but just wondering can a new customer do the same?

I'm looking for sky with sky sports and sky sports extra with broadband and phone and was given a price of €100 per month (12 month contract). This seems a little high so just wondering is there any way of haggling to get a better deal before calling sky back?

Any help or experiences would be appreciated

Not sure if they reopened today, but you will sometimes get a limited offer from the stalls in shopping centres. But usually for new customer, the price is the price.

ring them discuss what you want - say its too expensive and you need to think about it - they will ring you back - with a cheaper price - stick to your guns and have a few prices from the likes of virgin vodafone and eir. best of luck

Don't forget they currently don't have any sport, existing customers for sport got their bills halved including me, so don't pay for what they are not providing at present.
