Just wondering, have about 15 litres of motor oil used, after doing an oil change, thinking of bunging it in to the oil tank.

    Too crazy?:pac:

Put it in the old oil tank at your local recycling centre..

I'm no expert but that seems mad, your "oil" tank either has diesel or kerosene, wouldn't risk putting anything else into it.

Best case it's fine, worst case the boiler gets damaged and the fuel is contaminated.

Don't do it you will clog up the boiler.

You may be thinking of waste oil burners which are specially designed to burn waste oil.

I wouldn't do it. Old engine oil is far heavier than diesel or kerosene and doesn't burn very easily.
