Refund of travel insurance premiums during COVID?

    Given nobody has travelled abroad since March does anyone know of the likes of VHI Multi trip cover etc are giving refunds or extensions to the renewal date free of charge similar to what we are seeing for health insurance?

    I spoke with VHI about this very issue and was told they were waiting to see what customer enquiries dictated.

    Bit unfair if you have pre-paid for an annual policy and through no fault of your own, can't avail of it.
