    Hi,

You may have seen my other thread on my Mcculoch mower that the self drive went on. I'm going to sell it and hopefully purchase a new mower locally in Cork.

The after service from agrieuro leaves allot to be desired.

After doing some research it seems most lawnmower on the cheaper scale come with a transmission gearbox that is housed in plastic and will break after 2-3 years. If I purchase a new one I want one the is substantially better constructured. Something will last and wont need a new transmission after 2 years.

Can anyone recommend a model/make that has a decent self drive in it. Cutting deck say from 40 - 50cm or so.
I don't mind spending a bit more if it so going to be decent and last.
Buy cheap buy twice is ringing in my ears.
