Our channels went...waited a week for someone to fix it.
A few hours after the guy left to fix channels, our internet went... waited a week to get it fixed again!!
But came yesterday, literally at the house for a few mins, fixed it and headed off. Today internet is gone since about 5.30pm. sky helpline closed.
Is there any way of fixing this ourselves?? We can't wait another week as important exam on Tuesday that we need internet for and hotspot isn't strong enough. The guy that was here yesterday for a few mins surely did something easy enough ??
Any tips at all to get this piece of ****e working???
    Thanks!!

Unplug and plug back in, cable into wall do the same. Let it reset and then check devices aren't blocking IP address as sometimes one can take over and block the other device.

Have you tried unplugging router from mains and reconnecting?

Thanks for replies! Yep, Have tried unplugging and replugging back in a few times. Not sure what u mean by devices blocking IP address, all our devices were working fine on it, literally sitting on the couch and they all knocked offline.
There's a plastic panel on the outside wall, going to try prying it open as engineers seem to only be able to open it??

Doubt opening the outer box will help unless cables are loose or pulled out.

What speed is it and it could well be an issue at the exchange or it's just down...

Unplug everything for a few minutes.

Did you ask or find out what the problems were that the engineer fixed? Or how it was fixed?
