Could anyone tell me would a 135 drive a square baler?
Or what would be the smallest tractor that would?

be perfect for the job. Uncle of mine baled for years with 35x and sperry new Holland 370 ( both machines still going but no one to handle the bales now ! so make 50 to 100 every second year )

It would drive it no bother, but be careful if you have hilly fields, on a dry year like this, with the ground so hard, the rocking motion of the baler could push the tractor into a slide

I loaned a 35 to a neighbour one time whose tractork broke down. the tractor wasn't in great shape but it was shagged afterwards. The dual clutch was never designed to take that type of loading, and the engine struggled to match the power required. The 135 is a bit more powerful, but I'd be slow to put that kind of pressure on the tractor.
