Has anyone got one for sale?

I can order online but thought I'd check here first.

Now, I don't want to just carry a multi tool and tube, I basically want one that can take a towel and swimming shorts.

I do a lot of sea swimming and don't like carrying bags or rucksacks etc.

i have a grey ortlieb waterproof saddlebag, its 2.7 litre I think, a small towel would fit, def not a bath towel!

    Any links to pictures?

I generally use a small towel anyway so that's not a problem.

    Nah, like to travel light!

Also no rack mounts etc on my current steed.

Was thinking of a bar bag but might affect steering a little bit.

You could take a look at some of the frame or saddle bags on the likes of CRC e.g. https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/bags/frame-fit-bags
Personally, I'd rather take a backpack but I've a shower in work so I don't mind sweating.

Nothing to sell but can recommend this, I used it for years for commuting and fits plenty

    Lads

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

I'm only back on bike recently after accident few years ago that leaves me with major issue on my left side.

I can just about manage a spin out to Dollymount for a swim.
Backpacks are messy getting on and off, I have a courier bag but it moves around and I can't take hand off bars to reposition it - well I can but its a bit dicey.

Anyway all I will be carrying is swimming gear and a comb, so a smallish saddle bag seems the way to go.

I've a brand new one of these for sale and one used one. Due to lockdown I currently don't have access but if you're still looking in July or August let me know.

I used to use it for commuting but moved within 2km of work so want to move it on. I asked them to replace the original one I received as there was a minor stitching issue (I carry electronics in it and was worried about water) and they just sent me a new one which I never used!

The carradice bag is extremely solid, bit of a pain in the arse setting it into the holder but once you have the technique down it's fine. Only real negative is weight (heavier than normal saddle bags but the added weight makes it more sturdy).

That looks suitable for my purposes.

What are we talking about price wise?

I'd be interested in this, happygoose, if it's the large rather than the small

Paul, I'll take that for the asking price if it's still available and if the OP isn't interested.

Just to say I collected the Ortlieb bag from Paul Newman, a gent.

    It suits my purposes perfectly.
