I've fallen into the habit of just looking on Linkedin for new roles. I feel perhaps that I'm limited myself by doing that. Is there other sites that people use heavily?

Like indeed, monster, irishjobs etc. Do people trawl company websites too?

I know several people who have gotten connections on university alumni boards and also of course job field specialty boards.
What is your work background in and would you like to continue doing that?

Linked in and also the Facebook pages of companies/institutions I’m interested in. Good example over the last few weeks of lecturer and technician jobs advertised on Facebook for an IT that were not on linked in. Also publicjobs.ie

Don’t forget that a huge amount of roles are never widely advertised so use all your contacts and keep your ear to the ground.
