Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone has an idea about the €/kg cuts factories impose for heavy carcasses? Main ones I'd go to are Liffey Meats or ABP due to proximity.

I asked them but didn't get a straight answer :pac:

    Any help or info appreciated.

The cuts if they happen depend on many factors including who you are, how scarce cattle are, what way wind is blowing, and general mood the percurement managers boss is in.
I know that is very little help but heavy carcasses can mean different things to different people. I call heavy over 400kgs my buddy calls heavy over 460kgs neighbour here very rarely kills cattle under 500kgs.
I have taken cuts of 0/10/20 cent but I do know neighbour took a flat price of 40cent below base few months back for hand full of u grade cattle 34/35 months old but I think that was one of the worst cuts he has taken for a few years.
