Webcam's prices have increased, should I get a DSLR?

Webcams are either sold out or 3 x the price. For example, Logitech Streamcam's are about €250-€300. With those prices and for an extra €250 would a Canon M200, M50 or Sony 5100 be a better option.

unless you want a camera i dont see how this would make sense
from my understanding using a camera as a webcam will only give you about 560p resolution and no audio , amazon have loads of webcams for sale if it was me id be going down that route you could have a 1080p video and audio for less than 50 euros
but thats just my take on it perhaps others feel different
