how to drain water from my airmate t3/200-srb compressor

When I unscrew the little bung at the bottom of the tank, there is only a little drip of water, however when I lift the tank there is at least 3-4 litters of water sloshing about inside. Took out the little bung completely, but it made no difference. How can I drain the water out?

Try poking something through the hole. It may be blocked with dirt or corrosion.

Tried that, but there appears to be cover above which prevents anything going up

If it's that badly blocked, you might have to remove the full fitting.
I'm assuming the small insert you removed is screwed into another screw in fitting rather than part of the tank itself like this?

I had the same issue a few years ago with a small compressor and took out the full fitting and cleaned it up after removing

Your easiest way is to remove the brass plug & blow back through it with an air jet.
