Sterility?

Does being sterilized make you attractive to potential partners? I think this would apply more to men than women. Many women fear condomless sex with a man for fear of pregnancy. If a guy got a vasectomy and told a woman, would that make her more enthusiastic about sex? I was thinking of getting one.

    What about for women?

by the way, I'm talking about one night stands, not long term relationships.

I don't think conversations about fertility often precede one night stands.

Also, if you're talking about one night stands - your assumption that women fear condomless sex with a man for fear of pregnancy is absurd.

Well as a prime male, a credit to the gender and an all round sound gooooooouy!

Being sterile had no impact on my efforts to score (not that it was ever discussed in ONS or fling situations), or indeed snare myself a wife post vasectomy.

In your case however Mr F, when you're already struggling to keep your head above water in the shallow end of the gene pool...

Maybe you should think about it as an option?

Could your father get one retroactively??

Yes, who doesn't relish the prospect of a full suite of STIs once pregnancy isn't a concern?

Alas, as you've described on numerous occasions, you're unattractive and socially awkward. A vasectomy won't help. May I suggest a lobotomy instead?

Question for you, do people actually fear STI's? Most people that is.

From talking to my male friends, many of them seem oblivious to the consequences of sex in regards to STI's. They only know about pregnancy and vasectomies.

Can't women get their "tubes tied". Sorry i know that's a terrible description. But does that work as contraception?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭Mango Joe

You'd have to get a t shirt printed and wear it in the nightclub, that way the women who are seeking vasectomy-orientated one night stands will home in on your loins at first sight.

If this t shirt said something like "Snipped and down to pound, no commitment required", that would be a leg-opener for sure......

If they only know about pregnancy and vasectomies - they're probably not a reliable source of information for this topic.

It's about having a bit of common sense.
Already, there's been two suggestions of how to avoid STIs - Condoms, and telling a girl you just met that you've had a vasectomy (both are good forms of contraception too - but the latter, not for the reason you think).

It's an invasive procedure so any women I know who have had it done have had it during the process of caesarean sections. There is also a risk of ectopic pregnancy with them.

You'll do well to find a doctor that will perform a vasectomy on someone your age.

I agree, but in this case I really think we should try.

Mr Fefelein, listen mate. I and many others on this forum are growing tired of your incessant ranting about women, sex and all the other type of incel, PUA and MGTOW type bull crap you go on with.

I suggest you go speak to a counsellor of some sort.

And perhaps you should get a vasectomy, if only to stop you contaminating the gene pool with your bizarre defective traits.

Is it possible that you can verify that your a real person? I'm absolutely convinced your a programme designed to come up with ridiculous threads. I know your not AI unless artificial intelligence has got a virus and returned itself to the stone age

Rarely do I find myself agreeing with you, @Theboyconnor but you are absolutely correct. Mr Fegelien, you REALLY need to step away from Boards and maybe the whole internet for a while. Go for walks, find a hobby, interact with real humans and try to move away from this obsession with women and sex. It is honestly bizarre.

But to answer your question, no, being sterile won't make you more attractive to women. There are about 57,000 other things that 'women' (because we all think the same 🙄) care about first.

It's hilarious how insulting everyone can be to Mr Fegelian and it's all fine..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,203 ✭✭✭partyguinness

Herman Fegelien (died 1945) was a high ranking SS Commander within the Nazi regime.

I am feeling bad for him now with the nonsense you start. You really need to get a life and I mean that genuinely and stop living here.

It is not possible to insult him.

I don't like that people are so mean to the OP.

If they really were that much better than him then they wouldn't be resorting to petty, repetitive insults.... Its not witty, its not smart, its a constant and its a form of bullying.

If OP was a somewhat atypical character personalitywise in your personal or working lives would you all be walking up to him and insulting him like that????

Also OP had one one of the best threads to hit Boards.ie in a long time with "Biggest scandal to hit your workplace" - Some brilliant posts in there that reminded me of this site years ago when it was entertaining and funny Link

PS I'm aware that I responded earlier in this thread taking the piss....But I didn't personally attack him!!!

If I was working with someone like that then yes I would pull them aside and tell them to cop the fcuk on if they were constantly coming with such weird ****. Purely for their own sake and future.

Starting over 230 threads since last August and then not actually contibuting is par for the course.

I don't think you or the lads need to worry about STIs - just keep those hands washed.

This can not be stressed enough.
    Particularly if childless.

I had mine at 28, had 1 child and had a ferocious battle to get both a referral and a doc to do it.

When I look back to the carnage that was my twenties, I cannot recall the topic of sterility ever being brought up with someone I was heading home with

No i wouldn't have a one night stand with someone without a condom. There are worse things to catch then pregnancy.

Also would you really trust them?

Thread started …….. and then walks away.

Off to start another thread about sex/sexuality/children/drugs/teeth/online dating etc etc etc … ad infinitum

How is 'he' allowed get away with starting 200 threads in 10 months and rarely does 'he' comment on them again after the initial thread opener.

Can bots/programmes do that for clicks ? Its very very strange.

I've thought similar or is it being pulled from Reddit or some other platform?

We all like talking about a bit of bump and grind so it's relatively easy start a thread and walk away.

Contribute something of your own to any threads you start
Not every news story needs a thread on After Hours. Don't just post up a link to a news article just because nobody else has. Add something to it. Your own point of view.
If you do start a thread, be prepared to contribute to it yourself, especially if you expect others to do so.

Simple solution for me, either don't post in any thread they start or put them on ignore, similar to not feeling a troll (not yourself greenspurs).

Now I don't/haven't yet put anyone on ignore because that's just the way I am, but I don't normally bother to post in the OPs threads because their normally sh1te.

And to answer your question regarding bots/programs technically possible, not saying that the OP is one.
