Lost transponders

Hi Folks, I have lost reception of transponder 12129 V 27500-5/6 tp 22
    and some channels on 12382 H 27500-5/6 tp 35.
Everything else seems ok. I lost some of there some time back, but I replaced LNB and got connections fixed. (I am near the sea and there was some corrosion on them).
I have now lost them again. The man who replaced the LNB, seemed to think I was ok for trees and I am wondering how just a handful of stations could be affected.
    Thanks
    Dave

Sounds like your dish needs to be realigned

The guy checked the dish when he was replacing the LNB.
I had all channels when he left. Today I have got back a VERY pixillated version of
some channels on a very windy day in West Cork.

If it's particularly windy day, then it's either:

    * your dish getting blown slightly off alignment, or less likely, but possibly the arm that holds the LNB bring slightly loose, so moving independently of the dish when windy

    * a tree etc getting blown in front of the dish,

    * an obstacle partially blocking the LNB,

Over the years, I've had a few of these problems, with the biggest surprises being:

    * the impact that a few branches from a nearby tree were having, despite me thinking that they weren't in the way

    * a spider having somehow managed to get under the cover of the LNB and then dying there.

    Thanks,

    G.

I think I will have to get him back tomorrow.
This morning all were back, but gone again this evening.
    Thanks all.
