Exempted development query

    Hi all,

    My house was previously extended (with planning) by 17.5 and we converted the attached garage of 13.5 sqm. If I wanted to extend to the back of the house, am I right in saying the maximum size under exempted development would be 9sqm?

    Yes. 9 Sq. M max.
    Planning required to go bigger.
