Savings that you can't touch for a certain period of time

I was wondering about the possibility of starting a savings account where you aren't allowed to withdraw until a certain time period has passed. Like a trust fund for myself per se. Is this something you can do with Irish banks or credit unions?

All the banks do some form of timed deposit account, where you need to provide notice to withdraw.

Term deposit. Most term deposit rates are low. Raisin.ie offer some of the higher rates. State Savings offer high rates on long dated products.
