Anyone have any advise or know any waste or subsidy grant to help with the above?
I have several hundred tyres decaying on my land that were used for old silage pits and would like them gone.

I know there was a subsity in 2018 but all money is gone

i have been quoted 200 euro per ton (plus vat) locally, and this would add up to thousands.
Iam based in Clare / Limerick

Not a chance Moo. You can get an artic load of clean tyres for free from any trye recyclers. Loading up decaying tyres with nettles growing up through them not a job I'd fancy!

Good point there on the decaying tyres and nettles. helped a neighbour cover pit other day and the state of the tyres with decay. i wouldn't let them near a polythene cover with wire showing on many lorry tyres.
