E-ink / PDF reader

    Hello!

Anyone had any experience with some of the newer e-ink/e-readers? I'm looking at the reMarkable, Kobo, Sony DPT RP1, and Kindle versions, but I'm keen to get something that will be for scientific journal articles, with minimal annotation. Any recommendations?

Further, I've seen that people have some issues with the original reMarkable - exporting annotated pdfs can't happen unless you are willing to get in and mess around with code. Another annoying facet of the Kobo is that once you zoom in on a page and get it centred, the document reverts to upper-left alingment once you move onto the next page, requiring another unzoom and fit to page, a startling oversight for a reading device. Can anyone confirm this is the case?
