Blackbird tapping at window responding to crying baby

Just gave our 3 month old a bath. Baby was crying and a bird flew down to the windowsill and started tapping like mad.

I know there is a black bird nest somewhere on the roof so wondering if this is territorial or possibly something a bit more gruesome such as when some birds attack lambs and peck their eyes. A lambs cry could be maybe mistaken as a baby cry?
