    Any recommendations for someone to tackle a restoration of one of these. Dublin area preferably, but will travel if necessary.

    i can recommend Lichtenberg Classics (www.lichtenberg-classics.ie ) - based about 10 mins from Dundalk, bit of a spin from Dublin but a good guy to deal with, well regarded and knows the 114/115s inside out.

    I would second Benjamin Lichtenberg. You simply won't get better work or better value anywhere.

    3rd . Its been quite some time since Ben helped me out ( 15 years ) but he was knowledgable and helpful in a time when money sloshing around the place meant most Merc specialists were acting like arrogant a.holes
