    Hi,

Im a NON-EU and Ive been leaving in Ireland for 11 years, married for 7 years and my spouse is an EU. I'm holding a residence permit (Stamp4 EU Fam) and it expires in 2023.

Can i apply for Irish Citizen before it expires?

Sounds like you should be eligible.

    Thanks Gerard.
I did check but no result. There is a mistake on my post, stamp 5 does not expire in 2023. The Residence Permit i think its forever.

    Hi there

I expect you should be eligible to apply. You need to have 5 years reckonable residency before you apply- and a stamp 4 or 5 will count. You also need one year continuous residency before you apply (so no gaps in registering)

The stamp 5 runs until your passport expires- so for the last stamp that you put into the calculator, put in the date on your GNIB card as you expiry date.

You should give a call to Nasc or to the Immigrant Council for more information and assistance.
