Looking to invest in a good quality 3 ton trolley jack something that I'll have for a long time budget up to €180

Any suggestions? Even a bundle deal with axle stands would be welcome as I'm looking to get 4 aswell

    Thanks

I don't know personally what ones are good or bad here, but just posting this to help out
I have bought quite a few bits from these guys and found them very good to deal with and never had any issues
    Selection of Jacks and stands

Try ypur local motor factors. I bought a mcannix one for 100 euro about 5 years ago and has been fine. Granted it doesn't get a whole lot of work. Its the same as the nelson one on the website mentioned above.
If I was buying again I'd get a low profile one. My jack just about squeezes under the front bumper and suspension parts of the car.

I've the red neilson one on that page and the jack's. Have them a few years and they're perfect . Use them on my van often amongst other things.

I've a Winntec 2 ton low profile that cost €200. When you're buying check the jack's minimum and maximum heights, I needed a really low minimum to get under the car I had at the time. 2 ton is enough for any car.

Halford 3 ton is good value if it checks out.

Have a few 3 ton Jacks here. Both Sealey and Draper have held up well. Bought the Halfords 3 ton one very recently (admittedly for €144 with a Trade Card).
It's more substantial than I expected.
Although it's part of the 'Advanced' Range it only has a 2 year non-conditional Warranty.
For the money you mention, I would go with the Halfords Jack....plenty of 'German made' (chinese sh!te in reality) models around for not much less, ignore every one of them ;).

    https://www.halfords.com/motoring/trade-card/trade-card-sign-up.html

Scroll down to 'What Trades are eligible for a trade Card'.....

    ......and Electricians are included ;).

You have to go into your local Halfords to show them your proof of trade, and pick up the Card. Not sure how that works out at the moment (seeing as Halfords are only doing a walk-up-to-the-door system) but at least you are on the list and should be able to get a Card sooner or later.

edit: I know that's the UK site, but it's also the criteria they use over here.
