2009 TRANSIT REAR WHEEL DRIVE VAN, 2.4 DIESEL

when driving along and you put clutch to floor its loses pressure and stays on the floor, you have to pull over and try to get it back but drives for mile or 2 and does it again. Van was lying up a long time so maybe that got something to do with it too

    Sounds like the clutch cylinder
I'd have a look on youtube

    Google
Your problem will either be in the clutch master cylinder located up the pedal or at the clutch slave cylinder
which is located to the passenger side rear of the gearbox.

Either one could be faulty most likely the clutch slave cylinder is leaking & when
you give it a pump it builds the pressure back up again.

You definitely still need a professional to look at it, before there is a collision.
