Which would be best buy a 2015 opel mokka or a 2015 Kia Ceed, both are 1.6 diesel with 50k miles and coming in at 9.5k. I'd say both are UK imports at one stage and are private sales

Kia Ceed by a good margin.

Be careful though, Euro6 only became mandatory in September 2015, so anything before that date may be Euro5 and have higher NoX - which would add a nice bit to the VRT figure.

May I ask how you came to that shortlist?

price really. Looking for something under 10 k

No VRT or NOX as they are on irish plates now, I'd say they were UK registered at some stage maybe a few years ago

Ah right, I have you now.
The Ceed is very reliable, so as long as it’s been maintained and hasn’t a shady past, it would be worth looking at.

Renault Megane and Fluence are also very good cars if you want something recent for under €10k
