Hi. Can someone please recommend a phone company that is not three.ie?
    Their signal is rubbish.
Someday it works somedays it doesnt.
I have tried various different handsets.
What really got me was that i have a uk three phone too that i use when i go over there.
The foreign sim works in lots of places that my normal one doesnt.
After years with three and them always saying it will improve it never has so im off....
    Any recommendations?
    Tgank you

Gomo or eir. They use the same network,
It depends where you live, Eg not all rural area, s have a good signal outside towns, on any network
    Gomo is owned by Eir

Vodafone you get what you pay for

As it is, there are three main mobile infrastructure providers, Eir Vodafone and 3. All other companies piggy back on one of those (I think 3 is the most popular). Just get some PAYG sims and an unlocked phone and try them out.

    This too shall pass.

3 is only most popular over low cost + high data plans

It all depends where you are. Some networks are better than others depending on your location

If you had a dual sim phone, with 1 sim on 3 and other on Vodafone, you should have decent signal wherever you go. Have been toying with this idea for my phone (H-Y9) as I think network for Vodafone is slightly better of the three, but I am on 3 for their low cost for unlimited data.

    Watch this space.

    Overall Vodafone is the best.

However, I've been to some places where there is zero Voda signal but a great 3 signal. So, you really need to test it where you will use it the most. If in doubt, I would go with Voda though.
