Cat with megacolon/intestinal mobility disorder

My 7 year old cat has recently been diagnosed with possible megacolon and confirmed intestinal mobility disorder. She had vomited blood which initially promoted me to take her to the vet. She had bloods taken (which were normal) hospitalized for fluid therapy an enema to remove impacted stool and xrays. She was sent home with 2.5ml of lactulose To take twice daily and given a bag of royal cannin fiber response dry food. A month passed and all was fine with her behavior but she was only passing stool every 2 or 3 days. She started to vomit again so I took her back to the vet. Vet referred her for an ultrasound and a diagnosis of intestinal Mobility disorder was confirmed. Vet then started her on a medication called myotonine to make her colon contract and push stool out more frequently. She has had the dose increased under vet supervision. This medication is going to be increased one more time before vets decides to discontinue and look into other drugs. I have stopped giving cat dry food so she is on wet food only. She is also on gabapentin for chronic pain. The drug in my opinion does not seem to be working effectively. The vet told me that she should empty her bowl with in 2 hours of administering the drug.

There is not a lot of information online regarding this chronic illness and I was hoping there is someone out there who is going through the same issue with their cat can help with any useful suggestions?
