    Hi,

I will be reseeding 5 ac later this year. Was going to do it after 1st cut silage happening this week but the way the summer is looking to be going to go ill need all the grass growing.

Is it a good idea to plant white clover in silage grounds.
This filed will be mainly used for silage and will only be grazed end of year and start of year.

    Thanks

I wouldn’t bother with clover in a silage sward. You are going to be putting out 100 units of nitrogen in the spring which doesn’t do clover much good.

We got rid of the clover out of our silage ground.
    No bulk.
