Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me with this question. I had a paid internship lined up for the summer which has now been cancelled due to Coronavirus , is it possible for someone like me to claim the Covid payment or not ?

COVID payments are only available to those who were already on payroll. If you weren't being paid already, then unfortunately this will not be available to you.

You may be eligible for Jobseekers or some other social welfare support depending on your circumstances.
