What are my options for spyware for a android phone? Need to be able to see call log , messages, etc. Is it simple to set up ? How much does it cost ? TIA

Not really possible to do without the person knowing to be honest. I don't think we can advise on that type of thing here anyway. If you suspect someone of something then you should probably just corner them and ask them straight out to show you their phone.

Thank you for your reply. It's for my teenagers phone. First phone & I was advised by other parents this is possible but they had iPhones & could not show me how to set it up on a android phone. I know I can restrict & block websites & apps on their phone but wanted full piece of mind .

Ok, I didn't realise it was for a child. Provided they allow you put it on the phone you could try something like this.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mmguardian.parentapp

It's has more features than others.

Google also have their own parental controls app but I don't think it has call and message logs from what I can see.

Just search the play store for parental controls and you'll see all your choices.

If you want to hide the app you could use a launcher like lawnchair which allows you to hide apps.
