Planning permisssion for advertising?

    Is planning permission needed for

    A) Placing a sign with the business name on it abothe the entrsance door

    B) Putting up a sign, in the privately owned business car park, with the opening hours of the business on it

    A) yes. They only exemption is a small plaque at the front entrance.
    B) yes. And also permission from the land owner and letter of consent to go with the planning.
