Thanks for posting - picked up on just now. Dying for chips but OH is against the deep fat fryer made variety and just don’t get the same taste off shop bought oven chips.

I ordered 2 of them for £110 on Thursday evening. Amazon haven't shipped them yet so I just cancelled them there and re-ordered for £60. Delighted. It happened to me last year where I bought something on Amazon and 2 days later it became a deal of the day. Amazon had already dispatched my package by that time so I couldn't cancel it and re-order.

Do your oven chips in it and it will hugely improve them

It has less than 2 litre capacity as opposed to over 4 litres like OP

Are these anywhere near as good as the Philips version ? there seems to be a big price difference.

Reviews seem to indicate that the non stick coating peels off quickly which is worrying.
Was going to buy one until I saw that .
Perhaps people who have one over a year can comment on this ?

If true though, at least the non stick coating would cover the food, stopping it slipping around the plate before you eat it!

Ours was brilliant for a few months, then the coating started peeling. I'd say it was thrown out by six months.

This issue has put me right off no-brand air fryers now!

It was a real pity as the fryer was really good, otherwise. If I could have bought a replacement basket I wouldn't have minded. Must get around to buying a Phillips one.

Thats very disappointing to hear ,no point in buying something that will only last that long.

I'd make sure cleaning and care instructions are followed.
We have one for ages and still going strong

Our experience was different, it was treated with care and only washed in soapy water.

Having said that we did use it a lot. 🙂
