<€500 Laptop

Been tasked with getting a laptop for my sister. her budget is a stubborn €500 and won't stretch to the Honor Magicbook. She won't be doing anything too intensive but want something that will last a few years.

Aiming to get her something with 8GB/256SSD and a reasonable CPU. Anything better than this in this price range?

get this for €420 and add 4gb ram down the line (need to buy 8gb sodimm ddr4 -> amazon uk)

14 but narrow bezels so same as 13 inch of old

lightweight at 1.5kg

decent cpu and ssd.

can't see anything better around

actually apparently has 2 rams slots so would only need this. no harm in adding extra 8gb though
