Trying to scrappage trade-in a car with no log book

    I am giving an old scrap car into my main dealer as part exchange for new car. Problem is I can't find log book and they have asked for it. They are supposed to be collecting car tomorrow. What can I do???
    Do I really need log book?

    You will need to apply for a replacement logbook.
    Most of tge scrappage schemes dont actually scrap the cars. They are sold on within the trade so a logbook is needed

    Tell them you cant find it. They wont care, it happens a lot.
