    hello dose anyone know if a power steering could be fitted 2 a i955 ford consul mark1

    There are kits out there that fit electric power steering on the steering column. Some even come with a controller where you can adjust the amount of assistance. The gubbins then fit behind the dash.

    Burton power list them for the Mk 1 & 2 Escort. I imagine that the motorsport prep companies could engineer and fit one for you as I can't find a kit for a Consul

    The steering isnt heavy on a MK1..are you putting on wider wheels/tyres??
