Remote work

So having been remote working via phone and zoom etc. So far it has mainly maintaining social contact and trying to stay in a holding pattern for want of a better description. Hoping to get back to face to face next week with some people while observing the physical distancing rules.
There is talk of keeping/starting some people on telecommunications.
I read that for some people physically being somewhere, disclosing something traumatic and then leaving that physical environment is of benefit vrs revisiting something traumatic in your kitchen/room in your house and then still being in that space.
Just wondering how others are finding working like this and if you think you will continue to do so.
