Help please!

It pains me to have to write in here looking for some help but I've read that many lists and reviews of different devices today that my head is fried and I'm no closer to picking one than when I started!

Basically I'm just looking for something cheap and cheerful for only around €400 quid. Something to be able to say browse Internet, maybe play poker and have a zoom call going aswell. Nothing too heavy that would be the height of my activities on it really.

4GB of RAM seems really anaemic to me, my laptop struggles sometimes with a film going and a few tabs open in chrome - it's not very memory efficient but it carries over all my settings from my desktop. But my machine has ye olde spinny drive so it's spooling lots off to the RAM and doing it slowly.
