Have circa 3/4-1 acre lawn. Looking for a decent weed and feed. Has anyone tried this? Would growth be high?

Looking for something that won’t have me on the lawnmower every second night. Any Agri weed or feed using a spreader I could use?

Wouldn’t that be the case with most chemical based products. Could you recommend a weed and feed that would suit a large area?

What weeds have ya? 0.10.20 and and some granlime and a run of the budget with a selective herbicide would be cheapest way no? Anything with N in it will have ya cutting it more often hence I suggest the 0.10.20

I can spray dicophar but have quite a few weeds and was looking for the quickest option. 0-10-20 and dicophar might be the best option thanks

Struggling to get 0-10-20 in any coop. Would 0-7-30 do the same job? How many 50kg bags for 1 acre? I assume one would do?

This is cheaper option than weed and feed products

7/6/17+S: Actually a potato fertilizer but it is a perfect mix for lawns, not to high in notrogen, so a nice progressive groth spell. High in potash, which is great for lush green grass. The (S) is sulpher, this wil actually kill off moss

    30gram per m2

    Then your dicophar spray

Thanks could you recommend a spreader for a 1 acre lawn. Tow behind or would a push spreader do?

I did a small lawn with a mini vicon spreader as I call it... was only spreading <2kg in 67m2 mind but was actually sound enough!

I put it into a watering can (dry) and shook like a vicon spreader while walking backwards. :-)

FIL used a drop spreader for his small lawn and he was happy enough too.

A push spinner would be the job for you. Like any spreader spread in a smaller section first to calibrate opening and walking speed where it won’t matter to much. Important to accurately weigh required amount first.
