Eircom phone box.....

Hi I'm tinkering on the idea of putting a phone box or 2 in the garden and would love one of the original wooden p&t ones but will most likely go replica but would also love to get one of the eircom new gen ones as in the steel one( brushed steel type)

Anyone any idea how could source one without going the illegal route of ripping one out of the ground...

They're going for about €3.5k but I get that.... What I'd like is the ones they're removing now too before they all disappear.... To the scrap yard...

@phoneboxman on twitter does restorations on old phone boxes. I see the phone boxes in his front garden all the time along Collins Avenue. Give him a shout, he might be able to give you a steer at least.
