    Hi!
Some years back I bought a Denon M38DAB with Monitor Audio Radius 90HD speakers (No subwoofer) from you which has given great service, but recently I’ve been looking at upgrading somewhat.
Because I’m restricted by the unit footprint, I’m considering the Denon M41DAB but also thinking of adding a subwoofer.
What would you think of the Cambridge Audio Minx X200/201 mated to the M41 whilst retaining my Radius 90HD’s?
(Was looking at the MA Radius 380 sub but for that money probably overkill for the M41)!!

    Hi peking97,

    Thanks for the post!

The DM41 would still be the best mini system to go for at that size. The newer model also has Bluetooth built in so will allow streaming!

The Monitor Audio Radius 380 would match your speakers better but the Minx X201 is still a fantastic sub and would give you a great sound when paired with the Radius 90HD!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David

Thanks for the prompt reply David.
Is the addition of Bluetooth streaming the only real difference between the two models?

    Hi Peking97.

I would say there are a few differences over the years with internal components used between the two.

There have also been a slight cosmetic change. The front mounted USB post has gone and replaced with the Bluetooth Button

I think it adds in a clock and sleep timer as well which previous versions did not have.

    Kenny.

    Hi Peking97,

I will reply to your PM now.

We are currently operating on a skeleton staff and our response times are a little delayed. Apologies for any inconvenience.

    Kind regards

Received my Minx X200/201 this morning and now have a beautifully balanced bass response from the Denon. The Cambridge appears to perfectly complement the MA Radius 90 HD's.....according to my old ears anyway!

    Hey Peking97.

Thanks for letting us know that you are now up and running :)

You can now enjoy that extra bass with your setup.

    Thanks again for the business.
