Banned for invalid reaso

    I was banned from the Galway city forum for highlighting that drinking an alcoholic drink while driving is not (from any information I can find) in anyway illegal in itself.

    I can't see how the mod just decided this is a valid reason for a ban, I said nothing illegal, it was just a simple post nothing else. I did not advocate anything illegal or encourage anything - I even clearly stated in my post I was referring to situations where a person is under the legal limit.

    I have approached the mod and they said to appeal here.

    Look, suggesting its ok to drink as you drive is just moronic, and not something we condone here. Regardless of whether you are over the limit or not, you'd still be driving without due care and attention with one hand on a can and your head tilted back to swill your beer. Ban upheld.
