    Hello,

Apologies, haven't a clue how this works. I've got this PV in my house:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/n8lyv0eex49j14n/PV.jpg?dl=0

    How does it work? E.g
    • Does it store power or just use it when needed?
    • Should I use power intensive appliances when it's got peak PAC/sun light?
    • What does the current value - 1038.9W mean in real world usage?
    • Anything else I should know?

    Thanks.

your photo is of your inverter it takes the dc produced by your panels and changes it to ac 230v it

1Does it store power or just use it when needed?

no it doesn't store power it just feeds it into your house wiring if you don't use all of it then it feeds the excess out to the national grid

2Should I use power intensive appliances when it's got peak PAC/sun light?

    yes

3What does the current value - 1038.9W mean in real world usage?
the solar panels are producing 1kw of power

I have the same make. You can buy a WiFi module for it for about €50 that connects in to the bottom of it if you want to be able to monitor it. Or just push the grey button and will cycle through the displays telling you how much it’s produced that day or ever etc
