COVID payment - signing off & back on?

I'm self-employed, work freelance, and lost my work due to lockdown etc.
I've been getting the COVID payment thankfully. However this week, I've gotten some work.
I don't want to be claiming the COVID if I've work obviously, but my supply of work is not guaranteed, particularly at the moment, and I'm really scared of signing off of the COVID thinking I'm back to business, and then not getting a single other job for the next 3 weeks. So I'm wondering if I sign off, can I sign back onto it?
What is making it more complicated to me also is the fact that all my work for May, for example, gets paid at the end of June, and so on, so this week's work is in my income for July.
Is anyone else in a similar boat or have any insight on this? Thanks.

I would also like to know if anyone has an answer to this question. I worked in tourism and obviously I've been on the covid payment (350) since the start of lockdowm. I've been offered a few weeks work in September im a completely different job. If I take this work will I return to the covid payment or the unemployed benefit of 203?

Basically this job could cost me money as I will not be back to work until next year with my normal job.

After 17th September you can't sign on for covid. New rules announced today... Plus be 300 not 350 from 17th
