    Hi Folks,
I've had the Garmin Vivoactive 3 the past 10 months.
Its great having Spotify, but the problem I find is sometimes the GPS takes a while to establish a connection.. But the more frustrating problem that I cannot live with anymore, is the bluetooth connectivity.
Sometimes I have to spend 30 minutes playing around with it to connect to my wireless earphones... and it doesnt seem to matter what brand of earphones. I've tried 3 different types. I've spend hours troubleshooting. Resetting the watch to factory settings..

I had a Forerunner 235 previous to that which I liked but when I think back, the bluetooth connectivity on it was problematic aswell.

So I'm looking at trying another brand. Can I get some recommendations please based on personal experiences.
    My key requirements are :
    - good bluetooth connectivity
    - Spotify offline support and storage for at least a couple of hours of music.
    - the basic Running features... Distance/ Pace ..

    thanks

Hey, was looking for something similar about 2 years ago.
Decided on the Samsung gear sport watch. I've downloaded a few playlists to the watch. Switch Spotify to offline on your phone and away you go. Pair the watch with a set of Bluetooth ear phones and hey presto! Stick an app like map my run on it and you're sorted. Samsung Health which is on the watch is also pretty good. Comes in over the music at 1k intervals to tell you your splits. (Map my run used to this, but has stopped for some reason)
Changed my phone to a Xiaomi Redmi 8 which runs Miui and had trouble pairing it to the watch for ages. Had to do a full reboot on the phone to get it to work. Does drop the pairing now and again, but is easy to reconnect.

2 years later and still happy with it.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll take a look.
I presume you download from Spotify onto the watch over the wifi? is there a need to set spotify to offline mode ?
And finally, how do you find the bluetooth connectivity on the watch itself?

Yes, you download over wifi to the watch. You need to set Spotify on your main device to offline to allow it work on the watch. Bluetooth on the watch is good, no issues. I had a bit of trouble a couple of times with connecting to my earphones, but that seemed to be more of an issue with them, rather than the watch.

Best of luck with whatever you go with.
