I'm going to build a custom loom for my bike. Where can I get wire in lots of specific different colours sold by the metre? I don't necessarily mean right now, there's time enough when everything re-opens. I also want to get sheathing and connectors.

I really love delphi waterproof/weatherpack connectors. I've not done a whole loom (scary!) but have replaced parts of fried loom and regularly wire in mosfet looms on bikes.
The yellow and black cheapo copies all over ebay are grand for accessories but that's all I'd use em for.

    Wire here:https://www.louis.ie/artikel/cable-kit-for-mo-switch-mo-unit/60180101?list=21defece16ec679d7677f426e7500bae&filter_article_number=60180101

Connectors are a different story, what kind how many pins? waterproof or not?
Bullet connectors are easy but if you need 3-4-5-6 way connectors then you have some research to do.
Deutsch type are good but bulky, Superseal are also good for R/R connections to stator.
R/R may need different styles depending on the unit.

    How are your crimping skills?

I have gotten parts from both these place when doing a loom for a car:
    Autoelectricsupplies
    Vehiclewiringproducts

I've used ebay for a lot of things but cable wouldn't be one of them I've had issues with cat6 cable bought from ebay and heard other stories where people bought cable from ebay and it didn't meet the spec it was sold as (example).

Thanks for the suggestions. For connectors, I'll be looking to duplicate what I have. Attached (Hopefully) is part of what I'm working to replace. Crimping shouldn't be a problem. I've discovered these guys in Texas who seem to do some nice stuff for sheathing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3s2T9-fsNw.

Loving that high density split loom!

Actually Kojaycat sells that Polyester tape.
They are based in the UK.

Tbh, you could do worse than visit a car scrapyard and pull the loom out of it. Hundreds of metres of cable, and in an array of colours.

Connectors as mentioned above, need looking at. Superseal and Durite used here, but they can be bulky. Buy a proper F-barrel crimp tool and a range of heatshrink etc, so you can make it tidy.

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
