It's €279 from vodafone.ie too. As you might be aware Vodafone previously had it as low as €129 after cashback but the deal has since finished.

Indeed. Hope the OP managed to get one for €129, like most of us did.

Afraid not.. wasn’t aware of that.

    This’ll have to do.

Get yourself a good screen protector and case. Is a good phone for the price but the screen is extremely delicate and will scratch and crack easily. Also is definitely not water proof. Bit of a splash and off she goes

Tech specs don't mention a headphone jack, but some reviews do. Does it have one?

    Yes

Still a good deal. I got the Vodafone deal last October when it was €250, before knowing it would go down to €180, and then eventually €130.

Don't regret it one bit, great little phone.

if you are after a phone that takes good photos (good colours, dynamic range and low-light capabilities) this is a good option for the money.

I got this case, it's tougher than the soft silicone cases and protects the screen in a fall on a flat surface and colour suits the phone. phone is slippy so something is probably preferable.

I dropped the phone from about 1.5 feet and it just exploded 2 weeks after getting it, never seen that before, glad i only paid so little for it haha..

I got this one that looks a bit like the official fabric case from Google.. but personally think a quality tempered glass screen protector is even more important than a good case

I've never (*touch wood*) dropped a phone and damaged it too much with a decent case but I've replaced a handful of screen protectors.

I don't bother with them. don't like them and they don't work well/ look nice where there is any curve on a screen which is pretty much all screens today.

just keep the phone away from keys / other scratchy things and usually alright

Yeah, picked 2 up for myself and the missus when reduced. Lovely phone although noticing the battery life drop compared to the Redmi Note 5 I was using.

Was toying with waiting as assumed the 4A was going to be announced shortly after reduction, but that didn’t happen.

At that point, it might as well be called the 5A.
