yeah, apologies for not mentioning that. nothing too heavy, standard internet browsing. email, microsoft office.

not that i say that, it may be worth investing more to get soe a bit better. that way i have the option of playing games on it.

how would the above handle (say) football manager?

if you dont know off hand, no worries. dont go wasting your time.

You wont get much out of Football Manager on that.

I owned a NUC until a power event dealt it a terminal blow.
While I used it and I appreciated its small size I soon discovered it took up as much space as a USFF desktop unit and was unfortunately very limited in its hardware configuration possibilities. It took up similar space because of the attached wiring etc..

For about the same price as what that device costs, a much more powerful, used, SFF desktop can be bought, which is configurable with standard PC components.

If the small size is not a 'must have' then I suggest you take a look at Dell SFF, USFF and HP Elitedesk and such devices.
A lot are ex-business machines which were originally very well built and have not been mistreated.

This is just one site (I did not buy from these) just as an example to show what might be suitable if the size is not especially important.

Oh yes, I absolutely HATE with a passion links that include all sorts of hidden URLs and redirects etc ..... this is where that original posted link really goes

It performs as well as a €160 pocket machine can - OK for very simple browsing, Netflix, or email, pretty sluggish for anything else. Football Manager would run but probably not very well.

Something like this is similarly priced and would demolish it, and is still very small.
