Insurance in one car household - no claims, named drivers and switching policy holder

My wife and I are down to one car, which is in my name.

We were wondering if it's possible to flip flop between who's the policyholder on the car every two years so that we could both keep our no claims bonus.

I see mixed responses to whether there's any point in this. My wife is typically used the car most as I commuted by bike before lockdown.

So, does anyone do this? Is there any value in it?

One thing to keep in mind is that it's the main driver that needs to be primary policy holder.
But, for a married couple I'm not so sure how it works out on a single car.

Tbh, you can just ring and ask the insurer.
