Will there be any jobs this summer?

I was planning on getting a summer job at a place like Tesco or McDonald's after finishing the college term but with the COVID-19 pandemic, that doesn't look feasible at all.

Should I bother looking or is everywhere closed?

Maybe shops, I can imagine they might need extra staff in case people get sick.

 Do you actually want a job? They don't crawl into your lap you know.

Delivery drivers, including bicycle ones, are in hot demand.

For sure there will be some jobs.

Where, what and how to get them is a bit unknown. It mirrors life right now: we just don't know what the next weeks / months will bring.

Think about mirroring the employers that are doing well - look for opportunity, adapt yourself to what's needed and go get it!
