Question on 4G tablets

    Hi folks,

I'm looking to buy a tablet for my elderly father who is hospital after having a stroke. The hospital wifi keeps cutting in and out and he cant keep on reconnecting so I want to get him a tablet that can stay connected constantly.

When a tablet says that it is 4G, does this mean that I have to get a SIM card for it and then it will work off that network?

Can anyone suggest anything for the above - the main uses will be skyGo/netflix & audiobooks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. It will also support Wi-Fi so you can pick which service to use.

Give the rough location so people can recommend a 4G network with good coverage in that area.
